What is CISM

We offer two basic training packages

Initial Training for CISM Facilitators.

The aim of this course is to train Fire Service Personnel in the principles of CISM, to teach these personnel how to run and manage a CISM meeting and to become confident in this role.

Courses range from 3 days to 5 days, depending on the numbers being trained.

All course materials are provided by Pilgrim Psychology Services, and we can also help organisations develop educational materials for personnel attending CISM.

Refresher training for CISM Facilitators

The aims of these courses are to provide previously trained CISM facilitators with practise to keep skills levels and confidence high. The courses also allow facilitators to discuss any problems with the process and to help organizations hone their operational procedures in relation to CISM.

These are mostly one day courses.

Pilgrim Psychology Services also offers training for management in the form of educational presentations, which can be tailored to suit the organization.

Fees charges will depend on the particular needs of the organization and the training package.
