Individual Therapy


There are four main ways to access our Therapy:

Face-to-Face Therapy

Face to face therapy.

We currently offer Face-to-Face therapy from our consulting rooms at 11, St John Street in Manchester city centre.
Therapy takes place in a private and warm room, and you will find the reception staff very friendly. This is the traditional way therapy is provided, and is ideal for those who prefer face to face contact. It does require traveling to the clinic and availability is limited to certain days and times.

Online Therapy

Have therapy over the net!



Online Therapy is now available to anyone across the UK, and throughout the world, thanks to live Webcam technology and free messaging services. We offer Online therapy by either Skype or Windows Live Messenger.

Our Online Therapy is available at different times of the day, and we work with clients from as far afield as Dubai and New Zealand – all you need is to book in and log on!

The use of live web cam video technology means that you will see and hear your therapist in real time, at the same time they will be able to see and hear you. A web cam can be purchased fairly cheaply, is very easy to set up and the technology is quite simple.

Please note that we offer our appointments in UK times, so therefore ensure you take into account time zone differences when booking your appointment.

Technical Requirements

You need to have access to a computer with web cam and microphone. Webcams with built in microphones can be purchased quite cheaply from most PC stores. Secondly you will need to download FREE software, preferably Skype (download), but you can also use Windows Live Messenger (download) for free. Skype is very easy to use, as are most webcams, however, we recommend you gain an understanding of how to use whichever software you select prior to your appointment time. Minimum operating system requirements and technical assistance can be found on the software provider’s websites.

From time to time, technology can go wrong, however should the internet connection be lost, your therapist can continue the session by phone.

Telephone Sessions

Therapy over the phone.

Have Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from the comfort of your own home, via telephone with your chosen therapist. Appointment times can be arranged to suit you and therapy can take place during the day, in the evenings or at weekends. You do not even have to be in the UK as time zones can be taken into account when appointments are arranged.

People often choose phone therapy as they’d like to remain fairly anonymous, and don’t want to worry about internet technology. Not being able to see your therapist, and vice versa, may sometimes make communication more difficult, as your therapist will be unable to pick up visual cues about your emotional state. For telephone sessions, you will need to meet the cost of the telephone call, unless you are in the UK, in which case, we would phone you.

Life Coaching

Life coaching by phone, email and online.

Our life coaching sessions are available in flexible packages designed to suit you, and may use any combination of phone sessions, e mail communication or online communication. Contact us to arrange an initial appointment, or to discuss how life coaching can help you.
